What is Nickel 201 Pipe?
Nickel 201 pipe is a solution strengthened commercially wrought alloy. The pipe is designed with superior corrosion properties across harsh conditions. These pipes work well in high temperatures from 600 degrees F up to 1400 degrees F. The versatile grade of pipes are resistant to caustic alkalies and showcase high electrical conductivity. The alloy 201 pipes have a lower content of carbon embedded in them this makes them less susceptible to embrittlement and grain boundary formation. These pipes have a density of 8.89 g/cm3 with a melting point between 1435 up to 1446 degrees C. The alloy 201 possess a minimum tensile strength of 403mpa with a minimum yield strength of 103mpa. They have good magnetostrictive properties and can be utilized in transporting fluids and gases at high pressures and temperatures in stress-induced setups.

ASTM B161 UNS n02201 is a low-carbon nickel grade that is designed in the form of cold-worked seamless tubes and pipes. The material in this grade conforms to specific limits of nickel, copper, iron, manganese, carbon, silicon, and sulfur. Each of the components is subjected to different tension tests and has a confined tensile and yield strength with correct elongation properties.
