Inconel 600 is a component that is solution hardened. These modules are designed with an outstanding composition of nickel and chromium. This gives the Inconel 600 Plate enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media. The plates are designed in thickness above 6mm and show superior resistance against chloride stress corrosion cracking. They are designed to work in a range of service temperatures from cryogenic to high temperatures up to 2000 degrees F. The Alloy 600 Plate has excellent mechanical properties. These plates have minimum yield strength of 585mpa with a minimum tensile strength of 760mpa. They can be readily elongated by 10% in the system.
The Inconel 600 Sheet is designed in standard thickness between 0.5mm up to 6mm. These sheets showcase excellent machinability, and the components can be processed via the hot or cold rolling process. The versatile AMS 5540 Sheet has moderate strength and is widely used in roofing, airplane systems, automobile industries, etc. These sheets can be welded to pipe modules using standard welding procedures.
