EN 10225 S460G2+M oil and offshore platform steel plate is mostly used in all steel structures.four types of steel grades comes under the S460 steel which includes S460G1+QT, S460G1+M, S460G2+QT and also S460G2+M. They are owned by different chemical compositions and mechanical property. Oil and offshore platform steel plate S460G2+M owned the minimum yield strength at 460 Mpa, and the tensile strength is within 540-700 Mpa. TMCP heat treatment is compulsory for any steel plate like S460G2+M for any thickness when rolling the Steel S460g2+M.
Oil and offshore platforms are made from high strength of any steel plate S460G2+QT is in a steel standard EN 10225. For all thickness,oil and offshore steel plate S460G2+QT should be completed quenched and tempered. Neelcon steel offer the maximum and best thickness of S460G2+QT steel plates can reach to 250mm by quenched and tempered heat treatment. Along with En 10225 S460g2+M Steel material we provide the original mill test certificate under format EN10204 3.1/EN10204 3.2 if customer needs third party inspections.
