Alloy 20 is a low-carbon austenitic alloy type. The Alloy 20 Tube is made up of a superior content of nickel, iron, molybdenum, and chromium with niobium acting as a stabilizing agent. The versatile grade is also known as Carpenter 20 Pipe and showcases outstanding resistances against corrosive and oxidative media across different environments. The versatile Carpenter Alloy 20cb3 Pipe is tolerant to sensitization that incurs intergranular corrosion. These pipes also show good resistance to pitting and nitric acid containing environments. The Incoloy Alloy 20 Pipe showcases outstanding mechanical and physical properties. These pipes have a minimum tensile properties of 620mpa with a minimum yield properties of 300mpa. The UNS N08020 Pipe can be readily elongated by 41% and have a density of 8.05 g/cm3 with thermal conductivity of 12.3 W/mK. The B729 Pipe is available in different schedules and sizes. These pipes can be welded in place following standard welding procedures. They are commonly seen in chemical processing, mixing tanks, heat exchangers, process piping, and the production of synthetic fibers or plastics.
